What has been my journey so far?

After finishing high school, I was still very unsure about what to do with my life.

I knew that I had a drive to help people through biomedical devices so I studied Biomedical Sciences and Statistics at University College London. However, after passing the first year I realised that biology didn't suit me. I decided to stop that and take another route.

That other route was Electromechanical Engineering at KU Leuven in Belgium. Throughout the years, I enjoyed it much more than at UCL, but I still felt that I was missing out on directly helping people. This was when my aunt told me more about her profession as a  Cognitive Hypnotherapist. I was instantly fascinated by its potential for changing me and those around me.

I balanced the intensive 11-month Cognitive Hypnotherapy course at the Quest Institute, based in London, with my Electromechanical Engineering degree, based in Belgium. I realised that this period was one of the most transformative years in my life. It helped me to take action, become more confident, and see things in life much more clearly. Not to mention, it helped me reach 47m of depth in one breath in freediving, a very mental sport.

I want others to see this change in themselves too.

In addition, while telling stories to my younger twin sisters, I realised that I was in a unique situation where I could include hypnotherapeutic suggestions to help nudge change. I created Sleeping Saundra and have put the stories there for children around the world to also benefit from the potential of subconscious suggestions.

Here I am now. I still can't say that I am sure what I want to do in life, but for me, that is no longer important. At least for now, I hope to show the strength that each person already possesses through Cognitive Hypnotherapy. I am privileged to be able to see clients as a cognitive hypnotherapist in North London, Leuven (Belgium), and also online.

The Quest Institute and I are regulated by the NCH and CNHC National regulatory bodies and their codes of conduct. I am also fully insured by Holistic Insurance Services Ltd.
